Barrika Surf Camp
If you want to learn something about this sport or surf good waves this is the place! Barrika surf camp is a meeting point for both those who want to begin with the beautiful sport of surf, a sincere way of life in close contact with nature, as well as for experienced surfers who want to challenge themeselves in first class waves.
We offer our long experience as surfers and surfing teaching in our coast line on a familiar old house from the XVI century totallly rebuilded.
Barrika surf camp is a place where we want find in our trips, nice and clean, a place to talk and change surfing experiences to learn about all the travelers.
For us the comfortibility and the food is really important and we try to rest for the important moments of surfing. Yoga and streaching help us to continue next days enjoying with surfing, especially when the sea gives us strong waves in winter, spring or automm, summer is perfect for wide, fast & fun surfboards.
Close to the camp we have some beach bar where we can see the sunset drinking a beer and talking about the day on a cool ambient.

Barrika is located twenty minutes from Bilbao and fifteen minutes from Bilbao airport, close from the city and far enaugh to be on a natural landsky.
We have close seven beaches with all kind of waves since beginners to extreme surfers with diferent bottoms like sand, mixed sand & rocks or reef.
Mundaka is 40 minutes by car but we also can find not so crowed surf spots for medium or intermediate surfers.

Our surfcamp is like a mountain refugee all in warm wood with comfortable bunks and individual light for people who want to read after silence time (11:00 pm).
It is a place for relax in a natural enviroment close to the beach with wounderfull clifts to visit to do a good walk waching the sunset.
We can offer a big room for twenty people or a smaller one for families, couples or friends for six people.
