Surfschool TrêsOndas Ericeira was founded in 2001 by the couple Silke and Frithjof Gauss. Silke helps you to organize your holiday from her office. Frithjof, a licensed surf teacher for more than 10 years, manages the surf lessons.
"TAKE OFF AND GO"!!! No, surfing is not that easy. Even Frithjof "kissed" many waves before he stood safely on his board. Your success is important for us. That's the reason why our surf lessons feature a maximum of only 12 students !!!
TrêsOndas Escola de Surf is licensed by the Federação Portuguesa de Surf. Which means we only work with licensed teachers and follow the newest safety standards.

Names like Coxos, Backdoor or Ribeira d'Ilhas lets every surfer’s heart beat faster!!! But there are also plenty of easier spots, like beach breaks around here.
The center of the old fishing village with its typical white-blue "azulejos" house fronts still keeps charm. The tourism is mostly national which also gives Ericeira a special flair. Cafes, restaurants and shops invite you to discover Ericeira. In the bars and discos the nights are dominated by southern temperament.
If you like to eat fish you'll be in paradise here. In Ericeira many good and cheap restaurants await you. If you prefer one day eating, a good steak you should try a typical "Brazilian Churrasco". Even the spicy Chicken is grilled on carbon here!!! Our students receive a 10% discount in the Ericeira Surf Shop.

We can arrange differnt types of accomodation. All houses are well tested and central located. So you can reach everything in Ericeira easily on foot.
Our favorite host is the Residencial**. This beautiful small pension is located right in the center of Ericeira and just two minutes away from the beach. Most of our students are living here. We recommend this house because we know that you will feel comfortable there. All rooms includes TV, fridge, bathroom and breakfast.
