Ocean Ferrel Surf Camp
Peniche has always been a land between sea and waves. With mild temperature it is situated in the west zone of Portugal, a stunning natural beauty.
It is perhaps the place in Portugal with the best conditions for surfing. Not only by the quantity and quality of its waves, but also because it is a peninsula allowing off-shore winds all year around. At the north coast, from Peniche to the area of Baleal, several waves with ideal conditions for beginners can be found. The South Coast offers more waves for experienced surfers, such as the wave of Supertubos recognized internationally as one of the best in the world.
Our philosophy is based on a spirit of harmony, peace, surf culture and interaction between our customers. The Ocean Ferrel Surf camp is managed by two surfers with more than 15 years experience. It is situated on the road to Baleal and offers high quality services to its visitors.
Our guests should feel comfortable with us. Contact with other guests is important to us, but every guest will have his privacy. Therefore, we offer three different accommodation options - apartments, private and shared bedrooms.
All responsible surf monitors are licensed by the Portuguese Federation of Surf.

Ocean Ferrel Surf camp is situated near the road to Baleal, two minutes from the beach, which links the village Ferrel. Located near the nightlife area you will find clubs and pub's within walking distance.
The town center with ATM's, bakeries and pharmacies is also nearby. Peniche is approximately one hour from Lisbon, where buses leave regularly traveling to Peniche.

Our philosophy is based on proximity as a way to motivate interaction amongst our clients. That way, we try to create the adequate conditions for each person, offering different types of accommodation, apartments and shared bedrooms.
Shared bedrooms
All prices given by Ocean Ferrel Surf Camp include overnight sleep on shared conditions in an area which includes two bedrooms with bulk beds, a shared kitchen and a living room. Maximum of 8 people with possibility to upgrade to the next level.
Private Rooms Surf House
Specially designed for those who enjoy having their own private bedroom and share only the rest of the surf house.
Apartments Surf House
Here you’ll have your own bathroom, bedroom, living room and kitchen. For this upgrade a minimum of 4 people per booking is a must in high season.
