Island Boarders
We want to convey to you our love for the ocean and at the same time the respect we give it. The feeling you get when you 1st stand on a board and that sudden surge down the wave, the acceleration, though only lasting a few seconds it is addictive like a kind of drug that makes you want to experience it again and again. That’s surfing, the sport we love!
Island Boarders was the 1st BSA (British Surfing Association) surf school to open on Fuerteventura back in 2003 since then we have taught 1000's of people to surf and organize surf trips to other countries.
Since those early days we now have grown to a fleet of 3 Landrovers capable of teaching up to 48 people/ day in different groups and levels.
We are not new to the island, the owner has been living here since the early 70's when his parents were one of the 1st foreigners to take up residence and has been involved in water sports ever since.

Corralejo is a small fishing village now quickly becoming a tourist resort. It has a good mix of families and singles and though not a big party town you won't be disappointed.
There are lots of restaurants a dozen bars and a few night clubs. The main season is the summer as the winter time the swell can be big so only really suitable for intermediate/ advanced surfers.

The standard of the appt is slightly higher than most accommodation. It is a self contained building holding 12 appts over 3 floors. It is situated on the Spanish side of town on a corner overlooking the tennis courts of Bristol Playa and the other side the sea and Lanzarote.
There is also a 3 bedroom appt which has a separate access from the street and large terrace. This has a double bed and 2 bathrooms (1 ensuite).
Roof top terrace with views, sun loungers and shower. Also area for bar/private functions. All appts have either 2 or 4 hobs (for cooking), small or large fridge freezers terraces or balconies. Cleaning will be 2 days per week with 2 towel changes and 2 linen changes.
Situated close to a small supermarket and various restaurants and a short walk from main supermarket and centre of town.
