"Heaven on the Planet" and "Ocean Heaven" are remote sanctuaries in Ekas Bay, south-east Lombok. The surfbreaks are high quality and ideal for beginners at Inside Ekas through to expert at Outside Ekas.
Both retreats are alluring and eco-sensitive. Our guests come to a natural and unspoiled environment with full services – creating a special place for you to relax in our cliff-top and beach accommodation with restaurant, massages, surfing, kiting, diving, snorkelling and tours. We want you to feel nurtured and refreshed in our piece of Heaven.
HOT Planet is a great place to live and surf. This property is for sustained eco-tourism and conservation and encourages research, helping the environment and overcoming community poverty. Local villagers are doing the construction, have jobs on the property and still work on the land.
It is a remote location and so the goal is to combine everything into one unspoiled location to entertain our guests - pure vacation, relaxation, adventure, sports and culture.

The resorts are situated in beautiful remote south-eastern corner of Lombok. For a worry free trip, our experienced drivers pick you up from the airport, ferry terminal or any location of your choice in Lombok. If you are already in Lombok, just telephone and we will pick you up by car or bus.
For those coming from Bali, our team in Bali will arrange flights (or sea transport). They deliver the tickets to your hotel in Bali or at the airport if you are just passing through. They let our Lombok drivers know when you are arriving, so there is nothing for you to do except relax.
Alternatively, we can charter a seaplane from Bali and you land on Ekas Bay where our boat will pick you up.
If you are arranging your own travel, be aware that many vehicles won’t travel on the rough roads near the Hotel and so it is best to use the free hotel service for package guests. If you have any problems, please telephone.
From Mataram, your journey will take you through Praya, Keruak, Jerowaru and down to Ekas.

Our 15 chalets and villas are built with stunning timbers, buffed coconut poles and the richly-coloured quartz volcanic stones of the local hillsides. Marble is used extensively on the floors and in the bathrooms. The grass (alang alang) roofs are insulating and natural.
From small grass huts up to fully self-contained 2 bedroom villas, all accommodation has sea, mountain and bush views. The concept of design is glass fronted with decks on all rooms that take in the commanding views. Each room has its own private bathroom, styled with an open roof.
Everything built at Heaven is designed to blend with the natural environment, which is the philosophy of our architectural style. All buildings are earthquake safe, with minimal concrete and bricks, and safe alang alang roof.
Most rooms have DVD and the Resort provides satellite TV and internet in the "open lounge" near the restaurant. Reef Palace has its own kitchen plus a well stocked bar. All meals can be taken at Heaven’s restaurant or brought to the Reef Palace by your personal assistant who will also run any errands.
All bookings are taken on a "first in, best accommodation" basis, although minimum numbers are needed to avoid a surcharge for guests at Reef Palace and Komodo.
