The Chillhouse is a traditional retreat situated in Canggu amongst the rice fields on the southern shores of Bali. It is our desire to make you feel at home with us on Bali. There is no wish unheard, no desire too much, no dream too big. Let’s make it all happen.
Surfguiding, surfcoaching, massage, therapy, yoga, amazing organic food all day long, unlimited wi-fi all over, and the familiar atmosphere that goes such a long way.
We are renown for the quality of our surf coaching and surf guiding, as we try to keep the group sizes below 4, allowing private coaching and one on one teaching. All our guides are Bali locals, they know heaps of spots of the beaten track, are certified surf life savers, english speaking, and trained by the Alex personally.

The Chillhouse is situated about 8 kilometers North of the busy tourist center Kuta/Legian in Canggu, close to Echo Beach.
Just five minutes southwards by car or bike are a number of quality spots like Brawa, Batu Bolong, Old Mens’, and the renowned Canggu Left and Right, where you are likely to meet some pros kicking back and shredding waves during the tour.
These breaks are so diverse, and that’s why surfers of all levels will have a good time.
Away from the hectic traffic and the tourism melting pots you can kick back between ricefields and palm trees and soak up the surf and chill vibe.

The retreat features full board, The Gerry Lopez Treetop Loft, five luxurious double bungalows with private gardens, single and double rooms, a spacious pool, and wi-fi internet.
