Morocco is located in the northwest of the African continent. East of Morocco is Algeria and Mauretania in the south. In the east the country is limited by the Sahara a huge sand desert.

This diversified landscape makes Morocco an exciting travel destination. Further it owns eight UNESCO world-heritage places such as Fes, Tetouram, the old town of Medina, the labyrinth of Marrakesh and the king city of Rabat. In the winter the Atlas is suitable for winter sports.

Morocco is therefore an ideal holiday country and this not just for sun seeking Europeans during the winter month.

  • Politically stable
  • Long distances between different spots

The climate in Morocco is much diversified, however it is very comfortable all yearlong everywhere as the temperature are really mild also in winter times. The heat of the summer is eased from the chilly west wind from the Atlantic.

In the higher regions of the Atlas Mountains it can become rather cool in the winter. In the south of Morocco rules generally dry hot desert climate.

Thousands of kilometres of Atlantic coast in the west make the country very attractive for surfer. The numerous long point breaks roll especially in the winter when powerful swells from the north hit the Moroccan riffs. Beginners find suitable conditions all year long.
